I spent over 32 years working for a local transport company, starting as a driver, covering many miles within Europe before becoming a planner, then Transport Manager and finally Operations Director. During this time I spent 12 years volunteering as a Special Constable with Leicestershire Police helping to Police the town and surrounding area. Outside of work I follow Leicester Tigers rugby team, enjoy mountain biking and love to travel, enjoying holidays and breaks both here in the UK as well as abroad.

I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. I was also always being told by friends and work colleagues that I was a calm and relaxed type of person and that I would make a great Driving Instructor. It was while working in transport that I found that I had a passion for coaching people and helping them to reach their full potential.
